The Adult and Community Education Program was developed in 1948 and offers adult and youth enrichment classes, senior citizen programming, and other community related activities.
Brochures containing information about current class offerings are published in the fall, winter/spring, and summer (leisure programs only), posted online and are available by calling (734) 419-2426.

Leisure Class Registration
Please Note: If using the online registration form, you must register at least one (1) week in advance of the class you wish to take using the instructions below. Otherwise, call or register in person at Tinkham.
Instructions for Online Registration
- The Winter/Spring 2017 brochure lists available classes including AllStar Driver Education Classes.
- Complete the registration form. After you have submitted your form, there will be a link on the confirmation page to PaySchools. Pay for your class to complete the registration process. Classes are on a first come, first served basis. In the event a class is filled or dropped, you will be notified by phone.

*Other Important Information: Please make note of dates and times and plan to attend the first class session – no reminder will be sent to you. In the event of any changes, we will make every attempt to notify you. Please indicate work or alternative phone numbers on the registration form to assist us in contacting you. All registrations will be processed in the order received. All classes have a minimum and a maximum number of participants. In the event that a class has been filled or canceled, you will be contacted and issued a refund.
