We kicked of Reading Month with a fun assembly on Friday, February 27th. Students were so excited and our staff did an amazing job planning and preparing a fun, engaging assembly to kick off an awesome month! See pictures below.

Safety Reminder-Entering the Building

Safety is our #1 priority. All parents/visitors must report to the main office to enter the building. Please have your ID with you.The office staff will buzz you into the main office once they have identified the parent/visitor. No parents/visitors may enter the building at any other door. This includes arrival and dismissal time. Safety first.

A Message From The Principal

It is hard to believe that it is October already. The school year is moving along too fast. Fall is upon us and we have been so lucky to have amazing temperatures and a lot of sunshine. Speaking of sunshine, I want to share a shout out to all of our amazing Roadrunners who shine with positivity each day. Thank you to our Roadrunners who continue to share smiles and positive vibes when at school. It is awesome to walk through the school each morning to each class and see all of the smiling faces. Our entire staff appreciates the positivity and good choices from students. Thank you to our students who continue to make good choices and model positive behaviors.

Roadrunner Red Days

Every Friday, we encourage our students, staff and families to wear Roadrunner spirit wear and/or red to celebrate being a Roadrunner. Of course we also have some fun with it and add a little competition. Each Friday, we select the 3 classes with the most Roadrunner red spirit. We select one winning class to represent grades (k-2), (3-5) and McGrath. Each winning class proudly gets a Roadrunner flag displayed outside of their classroom for the following week to show off their Roadrunner spirit. Don't forget to wear your red on Fridays.

It has been a great first week. Thank you so much for your patience as we navigate through the city road construction.

To support added safety and smoother traffic, the city has placed No Parking signs on the west side of Moore St. This will allow for a safer drive and will support our many school busses that drive down that road. Please see the attached pictures.

Thank you for your continued patience and support. We have an amazing Roadrunner community.

The first day of school is Tuesday, August 26, 2025. We can't wait to see you! Our amazing staff is busy getting things ready for an awesome school year. We can't wait to welcome all of our new Roadrunner families and welcome back all of our returning students and families. Please be aware that we are beginning the school year with city road construction directly in front of our school. Currier street and the surrounding sidewalks are under construction. It will be beautiful when they complete the project! Please read this important document describing how to get to Roosevelt-McGrath during the construction process.
