Congratulations to our Wildwood Wolves that completed our March is Reading month challenge! Each student that turned in their 3 weekly reading logs earned a piece of tape to stick Ms. Babyak to the wall! We had over 300 students reach their goal, and had enough tape to FULLY STICK our Wildwood Leader to the wall! WAY TO GO WOLVES!
Registration for kindergarten is still going on! You can register in the Wildwood Office, Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm, no appointment necessary. Call the school if you have any questions! We are looking forward to adding to our Wildwood family! Spread the word throughout our great community!
In celebration of March being National Reading Month, we are taking on reading month with our theme of “Caution: Readers at Work!”. We will have many activities to encourage students’ love of reading. On the back of this letter is a reading calendar. This calendar has fun activities for your child to do as well as dates for our school-wide spirit days.
There will be daily reading requirements for home. Your child’s teacher will check the reading logs every FRIDAY. Reading Logs must be signed by an adult and construction equipment needs to be colored. A new reading log goes home each week. Reading logs will be due: March 8, March 15 and March 22. Students will receive a weekly prize for a completed reading log.
Ms. Babyak has given ALL Wildwood students a challenge for Reading Month. If they turn in all THREE logs for the month, they will participate in duct taping her to the wall at an assembly on March 21!
