Wayne-Westland Early College

Wayne-Westland Early College is a rigorous program that offers high school students an opportunity to earn college credit hours, up to an associate degree — while still in high school. A 5th year of high school is required for this program.
Wayne-Westland Community Schools has partnered with Madonna University to combine the high school and college experience. Upon completion of the program, students will graduate with their high school diploma and up to 60 credit hours, potentially earning their associate degree.
This program is offered at no cost to Wayne-Westland Community School District students.

Application Process (Will open again in November 2026)
- Students complete an Early College Student Application with an essay
- Students obtain two references
- Students participate in a 10-15 minute interview
