Wayne-Westland Early College is a rigorous program that offers high school students an opportunity to earn college credit hours, industry certification or an associate degree in nearly 20 programs — while still in high school.

Wayne-Westland Community Schools has partnered with several colleges and universities to combine the high school and college experience. Upon completing the program, students will graduate with their high school diploma and up to 60 credit hours, potentially earning their associate degree.

This program is offered at no cost to Wayne-Westland Community School District students.

Enrollment Information and Important Dates

Please note that the application window for the 2024/2025 school year is now closed. The next window will open on October 31, 2024.

Application process
 

  • Students complete an Early College Student Application with an essay
  • Students obtain two references  (Early College Recommendation Form
  • Students participate in a 10-15 minute interview
