Our employees are one of the most valuable assets in providing a quality education for our students. Our Human Resources department is in charge of recruiting, hiring, and retaining highly qualified employees for all positions and departments in the Wayne-Westland Community School District. This department also offers continued support to all current district employees.

At WWCS, our staff members go above and beyond to educate, support and inspire our community. One of the ways that we recognize outstanding contributions is our GEM (Going the Extra Mile) Award.
Our monthly newsletter is a comprehensive tool for our readers, providing clarity to essential human resources items. Each newsletter highlights different topics, provides timelines for important events, recognizes district personnel, and gives WWCS employees guidance for professional growth.
