Take the time to register your student for a African Dance class. This is a free class provided only to Hicks students. Transportation is not provided. The students will showcase the dance they learn at an all school assembly in February for African American History Month. Please take note the class is at the Booker Dozier Rec Center. If you have any questions, please use the numbers on the flyer.
Mrs. Amy Gee will be leaving the district to pursue a new opportunity. Her last day with the district will be May 17, 2024. We extend our best wishes for her success in her future endeavors and express our gratitude for the positive impact she has had on Hicks Elementary School.
We are fortunate to have Matt Furca, currently the assistant principal at Wildwood Elementary School, assume the role of interim principal at Hicks until the end of the school year. Mr. Furca has been a devoted member of the district, serving the students, staff, and community for many years.
We greatly appreciate your understanding and support during this transition. Thank you for your continued dedication to the success of our students and the community of Hicks Elementary School.
