Summer Program Information and Registration

Wayne-Westland Community Schools is proud to partner with several community organizations to provide a variety of exciting summer programs for our students.

Bright Futures Summer Program

EMU Bright Futures will be hosting a 6-week summer program, Mondays through Thursdays, from 8am-4pm. Bright Futures will begin on Tuesday, June 16th and run through Thursday, July 30th (week of July 4th the schools are closed). All Bright Futures summer programming will be at a central location.

Located at Adams Middle School.

BUSting with Learning

This summer, the district will take literacy on the road to provide students and children in the community with free literacy resources, school supplies, and a little fun with games and activities. Don't miss out on the fun. Check out the schedule below.

Credit Recovery

The Wayne-Westland Community Schools credit recovery program provides an opportunity for high school students to complete courses and earn the necessary credits for graduation or promotion. The district uses an online platform that enables students to learn at their own pace, with the added benefit of direct instruction through the digital curriculum, supplemented by teacher support.

This program is also available to students who have previously taken a course and received a failing grade, allowing them to retake the course and recover the lost credits.
