Free Elementary Fall Sports
Register your incoming fourth or fifth-grade student for fall Flag football or cheerleading. All programs are free. The registration deadline is June 16, 2023.
First Day of School for 2023-24 School Year
The first day of school will be Tuesday, August 29, 2023. Elementary students will have a half day of school in the morning only. Middle and high school students will have a full day of school.
Summer Programs
Wayne-Westland Community Schools offers a variety of summer programs for our elementary, middle and high school students.
Save the Date
Wayne-Westland Community Schools will host a Welcome Back to School Fair from 3-7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 16, at John Glenn High School. This family event will have free food, children’s activities, school supplies, and more! All children must have a parent or guardian in attendance.
Throughout the summer, we will continue to provide updates. Thank you for a successful school year, and we wish you a safe, relaxing and enjoyable summer. We look forward to seeing our students return to school in the fall!
