Hello Hamilton Families! - 9/11-9/13
Another great week at Hamilton. It is wonderful to see how our students are getting into routines and developing new friendships along with reconnecting with old friends. Transitioning back into the school routine is rarely easy, however I will say our students have done a great job and we know that parents play a major role in that. Thank you for being our partner in making back to school a success!

This week kicks off an important week! This is teacher Appreciation Week! Please take a moment to share your thoughts of thanks with your child's teacher. We know our teachers work hard every day to make sure our students have all they need to be successful and this is the week to let them know how much we appreciate that. Feel free to follow along with our activities this week or do what works for your family!
Happy Easter on this beautiful Sunday! I hope everyone enjoyed the wonderful Easter baskets that were donated and sent home on Friday. The students were very excited to see the Easter bunny and receive the baskets! Big thank you to DeLano Hornbuckel and the Do It For Denny Foundation who were responsible for the donations!
Thank you everyone who came out for Boys Activity Night!! It was great seeing so many kids having such a fun time. We have a girls dance coming up on May 30th and the theme is Disco-A-Glow! More information will be coming at the beginning of May.
Happy Spring! I hope everyone enjoyed the week off and are ready for the last 10 weeks of school! We have a lot to still do before June so let's work together to make these last 10 weeks a success! This time of year can get very hectic with state testing, end of unit testing, field trips, sports etc! The way you can help from home is to make sure your child stays on a consistent schedule and gets plenty of rest each night. Arriving at school on time and well rested is the best way to make it a successful day!
What a beautiful weekend! This beautiful weather makes up for losing an hour with day light saving time today! The week ahead is supposed to have some nice weather. With the warmer temps we get messy playgrounds, consider putting a change of pants in your child backpack in case they fall in the mud at recess.
Also with the warmer weather we will be directing students to walk around to their assigned door for arrival. Students enter the front door if they are a safety, have a prearranged plan with me or if it is afte 8:25. All other students enter their assigned door. This is done so we know were students are at all time and their teachers know where to expect them. Please drop your child off by 8:15 so they have enough time to walk to their class line up and be ready to walk into class at 8:25. Students must be in class by 8:30. When your child is on time for school this allows them the appropriate amount of time to get them selves ready for a great day of learning.
Please remember with drop off that if you are pulling to the front of the school to drop off you must pull all the way into the yellow striped area before letting your child out of the car. Children need to be let out at the curb so they are not walking in front of cars.Thank you in advance for your support and cooperation.
Hello Hamilton Families!
Welcome back after what I hope was a nice break! Hopefully the kids all had a chance to have some fun out in the snow. Please remember our focus on getting to school on time and staying for the whole day. We are in the last quarter of our school year and we need to make every minute count. In our Hamilton Vision statement we wrote that our vision for success includes personal responsibility and discipline, being at school on time every day is a way to practice that life skill.
