Next week will be our first full week of school! Students are doing a great job adjusting to new routines and procedures. We work hard with them for the first month of school to help them learn all of the new things about their classroom and the school.

We are so proud of how well our students are doing as we settle into the routines of a new school year! The children are working hard at learning classroom procedures and expectations, and overall, the year has started off very well. Families should have already received an invitation to connect with us on ClassDojo, which is the main way we communicate important updates and celebrations with you.
We also want to acknowledge that the beginning of the year can sometimes feel challenging for students as they adjust to new routines, teachers, and classmates. This is completely normal, and with time and consistency, things will get easier. We are confident that our students will continue to grow more comfortable each day and have a successful year ahead!
I hope everyone had a great weekend and you were able to get outside and enjoy the weather. Tomorrow is our Open House beginning at 4:00 pm. We will have dinner for everyone and there will be a KONA ice truck and bounce houses as well. This is FREE to all!! We hope you can join us to meet your child's teacher. I want to thank the PTA for their hard work to put on our Spring Carnival. They have put countless hours into making this event a huge success. April Patterson, Katherine Mumpfield, Danielle Wietecha, Charisse Hooks, and Danny Stamper have been an amazing team this year. I appreciate all of their dedication to Graham and the time that they give every day to make things great for our students and their families. I also am so thankful that we have had so many parents volunteering for things, donating items, and just offering to help in any way that you can. It means a lot to me, to our staff, and to our students!!!
I hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend! The weather was a little chillier than I was hoping for but it was nice to see the sunshine!
As we celebrate Memorial Day, it’s important to take a moment to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives while serving our country. We’re so thankful for their courage and the freedoms they’ve helped protect. We also want to thank all of the families in our school community who have served or are currently serving in the military. Your sacrifices mean so much to all of us.
Wow! What an amazing Color Run we had on Friday!! Thank you SO MUCH to all of the PTA members that helped to put this whole event on. This is one of our biggest fundraisers for the school. We appreciate all of the parents that came up today to participate and spray chalk. Everyone looked like they had a total blast!
