- Donors contract with the Local Impact Alliance to administer their funds and scholarship.

Criteria
- Donors will work with the LIA to identify scholarship criteria based on the desire of the donor.
Post
- The LIA will post the scholarship on their website for eligible students to apply. LIA will work with school counselors to help promote the scholarship.
Select
- If desired, donors can review applications and recommend the student(s) to be awarded to the LIA. If the donor chooses not to participate in the selection process, the LIA Scholarship Committee will review all eligible applications, select a recipient, and inform the donor of the decision.
Inform
- The LIA will inform the school and student/family of the scholarship award.
Award
- The LIA will award scholarship directly to the student’s post-secondary institution.
