Our latest video in our Did You Know series covers Standard Response Protocol. Our school has adopted The “I Love U Guys” Foundation’s Standard Response Protocol (SRP). Students and staff will be training, practicing, and drilling the protocol.

Children's Grief Awareness
Children's Grief Awareness Day was created to emphasize the unique struggles youth face when grieving and provide ways we can help support them through this challenging time. According to the New York Life Foundation, nearly 5 million youth under 18 will lose a parent or sibling.
Dear Wayne-Westland Families,
This year, we began a partnership with Capturing Kids Hearts. I had heard of this organization and the positive impact it made on their schools. In May, I attended a two-day training and could easily see why. I could immediately see the potential it had for our students!
