Early Intervention Services: Growing Together

Wayne-Westland Community Schools Early Intervention Services (EIS) Program provides joyful, family-centered support for infants and toddlers from birth to three years of age who have developmental delays or disabilities. We believe every child can grow, learn, and thrive, and we partner with families to celebrate every step along the way.

Our Primary Service Provider model means families have one trusted professional who visits their home multiple times each month, building a strong relationship with the child and family. Behind that provider is a team of specialists who collaborate and share their expertise in areas such as speech and language, motor development, feeding, sleep, mobility, and social-emotional development.

Our coaching approach honors each family's priorities and builds practical strategies into everyday routines. Children and families also have opportunities to learn and play in our age-appropriate group spaces and participate in fun community outings where they can connect with other families. We continually evaluate and re-evaluate each child's development, recognizing progress, celebrating milestones, and adjusting our support as children grow.

We are here to bring families hope, build confidence, and celebrate the incredible journey of early childhood—together.
