Hello William D. Ford Career-Technical Center Students, Families, and Staff,
Did you know that William D. Ford Career-Technical Center has a variety of student organizations? SKillsUSA and HOSA Future Health Professionals are two options for engagement and leadership available.
SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers, and industry professionals working together to ensure a future skilled workforce. This organization helps our students excel by providing educational programs, events, and competitions. Students will be participating in regional competitions over the next eight weeks. The regional competition for construction will be hosted at FordCTC.

- Coed teams
- 4 players per team

I have to say, I'm so impressed and proud of every single one of our Career Tech students. The dedication, hard work, and perseverance throughout this semester have been truly inspiring, and I know you'll continue to do great things in the weeks to come.
Remember to stay focused and motivated, and make the most of every opportunity to learn and grow. Whether you're preparing for competitions, completing projects, or mastering new skills, every step you take brings you closer to your goals and aspirations.

Dear Career Tech Students and Families,
On April 8th, a total solar eclipse will occur over William D. Ford Career-Technical Center, causing the skies to darken and transform the day into night. According to scientists, the sun disappears during an eclipse because it aligns perfectly with the moon at the right angle and distance. Although there are very few things that are perfect in life, this scene may seem magical or ominous to many.
With spring break upon us, it's a perfect time to reflect on our journey so far and look ahead to the final stretch of the school year. This is such an important time where we can really shine by working hard, being dedicated, and staying focused on our goals.
Spring break is a chance to recharge, spend time with loved ones, and do things that bring us joy, happiness and fulfillment. Whether you're planning a vacation or staying home, make sure you take the time to relax and enjoy yourself.
