Hello Ford CTC Students and Families!
Do you happen to know what an articulation agreement is? An articulation agreement is a formal agreement between one educational institution to another. This means that there can be a clear pathway for our Ford Tech students to earn, transfer, or waive certain classes and credits at post-secondary institutions (community college, trade school, four-year university, etc.) Every class at Ford Tech offers a variety of articulation agreements with surrounding and state-wide schools, colleges, and universities. That means that every class at Ford Tech can be viewed as higher-level learning. Please check with your child's teacher to see what those options might be. To search state-wide CTE agreements, please see Statewide Articulation Agreements.
Just because conferences have passed doesn't mean you should stop monitoring your child's progress. If you haven't done so yet, please log in to Parent Connect to review your child's current grades and progress. If you need help accessing Parent Connect, don't hesitate to call 734-419-2100 for assistance. Have a wonderful weekend!
Kind regards!

Hello Ford CTC Students and Families!
It’s been another great week at Ford Tech! This month kicks off our focus on safety and awareness, with students beginning to earn important industry-recognized credentials such as CPR, First Aid, OSHA 10, OSHA 30, Bloodborne Pathogens, and more. These credentials prepare our students for the responsibilities and expectations of their future careers.

Hello Ford CTC Students and Families!
Wow, the excitement and smiles this past week have been heartwarming! Talking to students who are starting to advocate for themselves truly shows their developing maturity for the next phase of life. I’m writing this message to give you a “heads up” about what to expect this school year as we continue this development process.
Hello Ford Students and Families!
We are currently in the final stretch of our school year, and it has been an amazing year with remarkable outcomes. At this point, our students have accounted for 3624 post-secondary credentials earned. A total of 5012 work-based learning experiences for our Career and Technical Education (CTE) students. These experiences have included presentations, field trips, industry professional evaluations, job shadowing, job opportunities, and pre-apprentice programs. It's truly incredible!
Additionally, we have 66 students pursuing apprenticeship programs, 78 students enrolled in certificate programs, 132 students working towards associate degrees, 298 students aiming for bachelor's degrees, and 184 students entering the workforce directly. This represents a diverse mix of students, each on their unique pathway.
Knowing that our students have their "next steps" in place is outstanding. I hope the energy and enthusiasm continue, and that their passion and determination lead to successful opportunities. I genuinely look forward to hearing about their achievements!
Kind regards,
Stephanie Bigelow, M.A., L.P.C.
