End of October / November News: Cultivating Gratitude

As the crisp air of autumn settles in, November arrives, bringing with it a wonderful opportunity to pause and reflect on the many blessings in our lives. This month, we encourage everyone in the Taft community to focus on gratitude and appreciation for all that we have.

It is a humbling reminder that many places and people around the world face hardships and struggles that we do not. Taking a moment each day to be thankful for our safety, our community, and the resources we have can shift our perspective and deepen our appreciation.

Family, Community, and Communication
November is often a time for family gatherings and enjoying the warmth of those closest to us. We encourage you to cherish these moments. These relationships and the memories we create are truly invaluable.

We also want to extend a special and sincere thank you to our parents for their unwavering commitment to their children's education and well-being. Your dedication to reading our Dojo messages and being proactive with important school-home communications is essential to our students' success.

A specific area where your partnership is crucial is with toileting and potty training. Please remember that children should be reliably potty trained at home before enrolling or attending school. Consistent and proactive efforts at home ensure a smooth transition and allow our teachers to focus on academic instruction without disruption. We appreciate your cooperation in helping all our students thrive.
