I can't believe this is the last week of school! We have a lot of fun things planned this week:
Monday is the Kindergarten Program
Wednesday is the Ice Cream Social
Friday is 5th Grade Clap out

Thank you to everyone who is part of the Schweitzer community for welcoming me my first year as principal. I've loved everyday of working with the families and students at Schweitzer this year! Looking forward to next year!

Reminder that there is no school on Monday, 5/27, for Memorial Day. On Tuesday, 5/28, we have Schweitzer Field Day! Please make sure your student wears appropriate shoes and brings a water bottle. (Rain check for Field Day will be Wednesday) The school year is winding down, check out the calendar in the newsletter that contains a schedule of end of the year events.

This week, the Kindergarten and 3rd Grade Music concert is on TUESDAY 5/22 at 6:30pm at Stevenson Middle School. Please notice the change of date due to a scheduling conflict. Thank you for understanding!
On Friday, 5/24, there is a half day and NO SCHOOL on Monday, 5/27, for Memorial Day.
Please be sure not to walk or park in our bus lane on Glenwood. Thank you!

This week on Thursday, May 16th, we have a parent literacy night at Schweitzer. This event was designed by teachers for parents to come and learn about ways we teach reading and how you can help you student at home. Join us starting at 4:30pm and we will rotate through different literacy stations.

Monday, April 29th, is King Pancake Day for lunch! Monday is also the last day to order Yearbooks. There is no school on Wednesday, May 1st, for Staff Professional Development.
Please be sure to read through the newsletter carefully so that you are aware of what's happening at Schweitzer in May and June. The school year is quickly coming to a close!
