Vision Statement

The vision of the Parent Advisory Committee is to build a strong partnership between families and Wayne-Westland Community Schools and foster a united school community to support student success. 

Mission Statement

The Parent Advisory Committee, together with Wayne-Westland Community Schools, knows that Great Futures Start Right Here. We work collaboratively to encourage family engagement, support district goals, and strengthen communication between families and the district. The committee serves as ambassadors for the district, representing the perspectives of families from every school. We provide constructive feedback, promote accurate, positive information, and strive for student success.

• Increase community awareness of the Parent Advisory Committee.
• Grow attendance and participation at committee meetings.
• Strengthen parent engagement across all schools.
• Establish a communications plan to share the committee's purpose and impact.
• Develop strategic goals for Years Two and Three to ensure continued growth and sustainability.
