The WMHS Staff is fired up and looking forward to seeing our scholars at our first day of school tomorrow. 

Please see the communication below that went out to all of the scholars this evening. It is loaded with very important information. I have also attached the parking charts and bus routes to this as well.

We had an amazing turnout for our WMHS Open House. It was awesome to see our scholars and families at WMHS, in the parking lot for the food trucks and DJ, and then at our game that evening. Thank you all for coming out. 
Our #WaynePride was on full display!!
 
 
Welcome back!! I hope that you had an amazing summer break!!  
 
The first day of the 2022-2023 school year is here!! We officially start school tomorrow, Monday, 8/29. We have a full day of school on this day. Your WMHS Staff are all fired up and ready to go. We are looking forward to having you back in the building and to get this year started. 
 
It is very important that you attend school from day 1, as you will be able to travel from class to class, be introduced to the staff, your teachers, classmates, and you will also have the opportunity to get information and how to join our athletics and clubs. We will be rocking at WMHS on day 1. 
 
This is going to be a great year. See you soon!

Important Information ---

*Please double check your hourly schedule for day 1. There may have been some small changes from last week to day 1. 

 

*Lunch Schedule (based on your 4th hour teacher)

*Your bus information - please make sure that you know what bus you ride before the end of the day on Monday. This is very important. The buses are on a tight schedule. They will look to leave WMHS at the end of the day in around 7 minutes after school. Not sure what bus you ride? Please go to the Main Office to get that information. See the attached docs for the WMHS parking and bus map info and the bus routes.

 

*Check your email on a daily basis! This is very important to keep up on important information that is being communicated with you. This is also a  'skill set' to develop in your college and/or career readiness track.

 

*I will be sending out communications on Sunday evenings around 6pm for the week ahead. Unless we have a long, Holiday weekend, then I will send out the communication on Monday evening before school starts back up on Tuesday.

 

The Week Ahead:

Monday (Motivated Mon)

 *Full Day - abbreviated schedule day 

--Students will be lead by our staff on a rotation throughout WMHS on this day 

--Have breakfast, then report to your 1st Hour - your teachers will guide you from there

--Have a schedule issue? Report to the main office after breakfast where we will support you

 

Tuesday (Choose Day ... be Dynamic)

 *Normal, Full Day

 

Wednesday (Wellness Wed ... self care! Hump Day)

 *Normal, Full Day

 

Thursday (Thoughtful Thurs ... take care of a classmate! ... lil' Friday)

*Normal, Full Day

 

Friday (HAPPY FRI-YAY!)

*No School

-Labor Day Weekend
