Hello William D. Ford Career-Technical Center Students, Families, and Staff,
Manufacturing Day is held annually on the first Friday in October. It shows students and educators the reality of modern manufacturing and associated careers. As manufacturers seek to fill 4 million high-skill, high-tech and high-paying jobs over the next decade, Manufacturing Day provides companies the opportunity to collectively address the challenge of talent recruitment and development.
FordCTC is excited that Roush Performance Industries and Schoolcraft College will be opening their doors this Friday to our students and staff. We will have the opportunity to tour facilities, view demonstrations, and to learn from industry professionals.
Manufacturing is at the heart of some of the most impactful work and it will continue to be influential in our community. Manufacturing careers will provide strong livelihoods for many of our current students.
