How schools are communicating during phone and internet outage
Good morning Wayne-Westland families, As we continue with our phone and Internet outage, we want to update you on some of the processes we have in place to communicate with families. Our building administrators are currently using cell phones to communicate with families when they need to reach them in the event of an emergency or a sick child. Please know that these numbers will either come from no caller ID or an unfamiliar number because we cannot use our school phone lines to make external phone calls. Also, please make sure you have updated your information in the parent connect portal so that we do have current phone numbers for you and all emergency contacts. Lastly, if you need to report your child's absence or have a general question please email Info@wwcsd.net.
Thank you for your continued support of our schools, our students, and our community. Last night, Wayne-Westland voters elected Shannnon Rochon, Frederick Weaver and Andrew Ambrus to serve on the Board of Education beginning January 1, 2025.
