February GEM Award Winner - Mrs. Tackett-Brader
Franklin Middle School: Mrs. Tackett-Brader - Language Teacher
Statement: I enjoy working in WW because this is home to me! After spending my own childhood in WW schools, I wanted to come back and be that teacher that knew the population of students she was working with and be a positive role model for those who graced my classroom each year. I have taught in the district 23 years now and cannot imagine myself teaching anywhere else!
Deena Pringle statement: Mrs. Tackett dedicated extra time working with our students to prepare for the district spelling bee. As a result, one of our Franklin students, Nevaeh Zeeto won 1st place. Mrs. Tackett is currently working with Nevaeh to prepare for the regional spelling bee hosted by WJLB.
