Dear Wayne-Westland Community School students, staff and families,
We can't begin to tell you the excitement that filled our classrooms today as we returned to school. I had the honor and privilege of walking around many of our schools and seeing our students back in class, learning, participating, and doing what they should be doing. I know you - our families - must also be excited to get our students back in our schools because we all genuinely believe that's where they belong. That's where learning takes place: in our schools and classrooms.
Great Futures Start Right Here in Wayne-Westland Community Schools. We have the most remarkable students and teachers who make the magic happen for our students daily. Thank you for partnering with us and making Wayne-Westland Community Schools a great place to learn, grow, and play. Wayne-Westland is our community. We are united to support our children and community. At all times, we must always be One Wayne-Westland Community Schools. Communication leads to understanding, understanding fosters relationships, and relationships build a community. This is our mantra this year.
