Hello Elliott Families,
December has arrived and we have several activities planned this month including the Penguin Patch Holiday Shop that will be taking place this week. Later this month we are excited for our first music concerts of the school year with our 2nd and 3rd grade winter concerts.

The school year is quickly coming to an end and we have many activities scheduled. Please make sure to join us for our PTO Ball for All this evening from 6pm-7:30pm. We will be finishing off our week with our Field Day on Friday. 5th grade and Kindergarten families please review the activities listed below as we approach the last days of school.
It was great seeing all of our families out last week for field trips and our Science Exploration Night. Our Field Day is quickly approaching and we are still looking for volunteers. The event is Friday, May 30th for those parents who are interested.
Teacher Appreciation Week
This week we are celebrating our teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week. The PTO and Administration at Elliott have planned several things to say thank you for our teaching staff. If you would like to help with celebrating the teachers at Elliott have your child write a letter to their teacher showing their appreciation.
We have several events taking place in the next several weeks as we get closer to the end of the school year. Please see those events located in our newsletter. More events will be added as we move into May.
We are excited to announce that Ms. Clarey has started as our new 4th grade teacher at Elliott Elementary. Ms. Clarey will be inviting families to stop in and visit the classroom on Tuesday, April 15th from 3:45pm-4:30pm.

We are excited to welcome our students back from spring break. We are entering the final stretch of the school year. As we move into April our 3rd-5th graders will be taking the M-Step. If you have a student in those grades please make sure they eat a good breakfast and have a good nights rest prior to their test. I have included a letter below in our newsletter.
Our PTO will have their next meeting on Tuesday, April 8 at 6:30pm. Currently all board positions are open for next school year. Those who are interested in holding a board position should attend the next PTO meeting.
