Good Afternoon Franklin Families
Welcome back staff and students. I hope everyone is staying safe and warm during the ice storm that left many without power and down trees. Here is a link to warming centers if you or someone you know remains without power. We plan to reschedule our school dance that was canceled due to inclement weather. This week we have a home wrestling meet Tuesday 2/28 and a home girl's basketball game on Wednesday 3/1. As a reminder students must be accompanied by an adult to attend the home games.

Wayne-Westland Community Schools is hosting a 3v3 basketball tournament for grades 4-12 on May 11 at John Glenn High School!
- $25 per player
- Coed teams
- 4 players per team
- Half-court game format
- 3 game minimum
- Must be enrolled in Wayne-Westland Community Schools
We started the week out with our community Solar Eclipse Watch party on the track. Thank you to Ms. Michael for her generous donation of glasses which allowed students, staff and our community to view the eclipse safely. We would like to give a shout out to our 8th grade students for their perseverance and cooperation during PSAT testing. Students followed the no electronic rule and we had no testing irregularities. All students will take the MSTEP test Tuesday April 16th. Students need to bring their district issued Chromebook to school fully charged. We know we can have another smooth day of testing like this past Thursday.
