End of Emergency Connectivity Fund Grant and iPad Collection,

Weekly Letter to Students Parents and Staff

I want to provide you with an important update regarding our district's technology resources. As you may know, our schools have been fortunate to receive funding through the Emergency Connectivity Fund (ECF), a grant that has allowed us to provide iPads with cellular service to elementary students for educational purposes.

The ECF grant is coming to an end, which means we will be collecting the iPads distributed to students. We understand that these devices have been an integral part of your child's education, and we sincerely appreciate your cooperation in returning them to the school.

Please be assured that we are working diligently to minimize any disruption to your child's learning experience during this transition period. If your child requires access to technology for continued learning, please don't hesitate to reach out to us so that we can explore alternative solutions. In the coming weeks, we will organize a collection process to facilitate the return of the iPads and provide you with detailed instructions on how and when to return the devices. Please check your school's newsletter for specific details.

Thank you for your understanding and support as we navigate this change.

Best regards,

Jacinda Sumara

Executive Director of Technology and Innovation
