NEWSLETTER: Schweitzer Elementary Stinger Scoop - March 22, 2026
We were sad to have to cancel school on Friday due to the unexpected power outage. Unfortunately, that meant we missed out on a few special events we had planned, including our Book Character Parade and Kindergarten Round Up. The good news is that our Book Character Parade has been rescheduled for this Friday, and we are excited to still celebrate together!

Just a reminder that we have a half day of school on Friday this week due to Kindergarten Round-Up at Schweitzer. Half day dismissal is at 11:40am. Kindergarten Round-Up will begin at 1:30pm and will last about one hour. We are excited to meet and welcome our newest Schweitzer students and families!

Welcome back! I hope everyone had a wonderful and relaxing mid-winter break. We are excited to have our students back in the building and ready for learning.
As we return, Michigan weather continues to fluctuate from day to day. Please remember to send your child to school dressed in layers so they are comfortable both indoors and outside. Students will continue to go outside for recess whenever weather permits, so coats, hats, gloves, and appropriate footwear are still important.
