Virtual Learning Day Information
Dear Families,
There will be a city-wide general election on Tuesday, February 27, 2024. Several of our schools have been designated polling locations as part of the election process.
The following schools will have a virtual learning day on February 27, 2024:
- Adams Middle School
- Edison Elementary School
- Elliott Elementary School
- Graham Elementary School
- Hicks Elementary School
- Wildwood Elementary School
Building administrators and classroom teachers have been working diligently to facilitate a smooth virtual learning day. Teachers will distribute assignments the day before and/or meet with their classes via Google Classroom. Further communication will be provided by your child's school in the near future.
We acknowledge that this transition might present some challenges, and we value your understanding and cooperation. Our goal is to uphold a strong educational standard while hosting the elections at our designated schools.
NOTE: All schools not mentioned previously will maintain their regular schedule of in-person instruction.
Champions Before and After School program will offer full-day care for enrolled students at Edison, Elliott, Graham, and Wildwood Elementary Schools. Registered Hicks students will attend Champions at Elliott Elementary School per their usual routine.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact your child's teacher or school administration. We appreciate your flexibility and support as we navigate this temporary change together.
