Virtual Learning
As education evolves, Wayne-Westland Community Schools is committed to providing a variety of options better to suit the needs of students and families. Therefore, in addition to traditional in-person learning, we offer the following educational pathways with opportunities to participate in athletics and school activities.
Complete Virtual Synchronous Learning
Full-day live instruction is offered to second through fifth grade students virtually by highly qualified, certified teachers.
Complete Virtual Asynchronous Learning
This option provides an engaging curriculum and a flexible schedule to help students maximize their learning potential. Sixth through twelfth grade students work at a self-directed pace with online staff available to support as needed.
Hybrid (In-Person and Virtual) Learning
This option offers an innovative approach to education using a curriculum aligned with state and national standards. The program is designed to be hybrid, offering high school students the ability to have in-person learning opportunities and work online.
If you are interested in enrolling in a virtual program, please complete the interest form. The office will send you a virtual agreement (once available) with more information.
