Wayne-Westland Community Schools is hosting a 3v3 basketball tournament for grades 4-12 on May 11 at John Glenn High School!  

• $25 per player
• Coed teams
• 4 players per team
• Half-court game format
• 3 game minimum
• Must be enrolled in Wayne-Westland Community Schools

NEWSLETTER: Franklin Middle School Weekly Update -April 22, 2024

We started the week out with our community Solar Eclipse Watch party on the track. Thank you to Ms. Michael for her generous donation of glasses which allowed students, staff and our community to view the eclipse safely. We would like to give a shout out to our 8th grade students for their perseverance and cooperation during PSAT testing. Students followed the no electronic rule and we had no testing irregularities. All students will take the MSTEP test Tuesday April 16th. Students need to bring their district issued Chromebook to school fully charged. We know we can have another smooth day of testing like this past Thursday.

• April 5th: Last day of 3rd quarter, half day of school for students (dismissal at 11am)
• April 9th: PSAT 8th grade only. Virtual learning for 6th and 7th grade students.

• April 24th: 5th Grade Transition Night 6:00pm-7:00pm
• May 23rd: 8th Grade Cedar point trip
• May 30, 2024: 8th Grade Farewell Dance 4:00pm-5:30pm
